Author Guidelines

At Mdooter, a structured abstract of not more than 300 words is employed, and the following template shall guide prospective contributors:

Title: The title of a manuscript should not be longer than 50 words. The title should be in lower case, except in cases where the upper case is best suited, like for proper nouns.

The study's objective: The study's objective should clearly state the problem to be solved.

Methodology: This should indicate how the research was carried out and the designs adopted to achieve the study objectives. The sample size, sampling procedure for selecting respondents, and instruments for data collection for the study should also be clearly stated.

Results: Results should be presented in clear and simple language.

Conclusion: The conclusion should be handled with seriousness. The contributors should concisely sum up the study.

Keywords: The keywords which serve as the yardstick to refer to, and or identify the paper should be clearly indicated with a comma.

References: At Mdooter, the referencing style we adopt is APA 7th edition. Contributors are also encouraged to cite reputable impact factor journals.

Word count: Each submitted manuscript's words should range from 3000 to 5000, including references.

Font size: The font size should be 12.

Font types: Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman.

Number of references: We expect the number of references to be 15-20.

Line spacing: The manuscript should be double-spaced.

Anonymising document: authors should prepare their main document without author details to allow for anonymous peer review.

Title page: A title page should contain information like name, institutional affiliation and contact details.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
